How to apply

Because of limited space, applications are required.

Eligibility

Any active journalists writing for newspapers, magazines, wire services, radio, television, or online news organizations may apply.

Priority will be given to journalists covering religion and who apply for the first time.

The seminar is open to journalists from all countries, but fluency in English is required.

The number of participants is limited.

Cost

COST: 875 EURO 

Includes:

  • Registration and participation in all the activities (classes, encounters and visits)
  • Educational materials
  • Lunch for 6 days

Scholarships

Although the period of application has finished, IT IS STILL POSSIBLE TO APPLY (until July 12) to be included in a waiting list. In case an accepted candidate drops his/her application, the place will be given to a candidate of the waiting list.

Candidates may request a partial scholarship of up to 700 Euro (only applicable to Seminar fees).   

The application for the scholarship should be made online (found on the same page as the Application Form).

Applicants will be notified of scholarship status on or before June 24, 2016 (Date can change).

Applicants must accept/deny scholarship and participation in the program by June 28, 2016 (Date can change).

Application

IMPORTANT NOTE: The application process involves 7 quick steps. It is necessary to follow all 7-steps in order to complete the application. You will find the steps detailed below. At the completion of the application, the organizing committee will evaluate the applications and respond to the applicants on or before June 24, 2016 (Date can change). Applying does NOT guarantee acceptance. Applicants admitted to the program will be directly notified of their acceptance and will be given instructions for effective registration and payment procedures.

Registration and Payment

After acceptance notification, applicants must confirm participation, complete registration and submit due payment online by July 3, 2016 (Date can change) in order to be included for the 2016 Seminar.

WITHDRAWALS:

  • Before July 10, there will be a charge of 175 Euro (for administrative costs) and only 50% of the balance will be reimbursed.
  • After July 15, there will be no reimbursement.
